We were delighted to attend The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) Gala this month, this event allows industry professionals and leading figures to gather and celebrate the finest innovations and products within the frozen food industry.

The BFFF Gala, often considered a highlight of the frozen food industry’s calendar, provided an excellent platform for us to catch up with old industry friends and network with new faces.

We were ecstatic to have two of our products up for awards. The “DELUXE” Three Fish Roast, made from MSC Atlantic Cod, MSC Smoked Haddock and succulent Atlantic Salmon in a rich cheddar cheese and spring onion sauce topped with a rustic cheddar cheese and fried onion crumble, which has been a seasonal favourite in Lidl stores across the UK and Ireland for over 13 years, was nominated in the coveted “Best New Seasonal/Party Food” award. Additionally, our UK Sourced MSC Spicy Crab Cake, which has earned rave reviews for its exquisite taste and perfect balance of spices, was nomination in the “Best New Starter/Side/Ingredient” category.

While we didn’t come away triumphant on the night, we couldn’t have been prouder of the products we had up for an award.

The event also served as a great learning experience for us, as we gained valuable insights into the latest trends and developments shaping the frozen food sector. It provided us with renewed motivation to continue delivering the very best in frozen food products for our customers.
